As of 05/2015, DaleBoot is “the only remaining Ski Boot manufacturer in the US (and they are proud of it..!).” Their hard-shell Custom Ski Boots are made and sold in Salt Lake city Utah. You can find Americas Best Ski Boots online or at a local DaleBoot Authorized Fit Center (see ‘Where to Buy’ below). Note the Ski Boot is: Not generally recommended for Snowboard applications.

“A DaleBoot is a fully customized Ski Boot, designed from your foot & lower leg outwards to the shell. The liner is molded exactly to the foot and lower leg volumes & shapes. As part of the fitting process they analyze the bio-mechanics of the ankle and alter their adjustable footbed to account for either pronation or supination, or fore/aft stance balance issues.”

If you wish to buy online, they will send you a fit and order form, the Ski Boot sizing process is simple and they have a “less than 2% return rate”.
If you do choose to order Mens or Womens Ski Boots online, you are always welcome to visit any of their Authorized Fit Centers for adjustments and stance balancing afterwards; the canting and stance balancing are not available over the web. All adjustments are free of charge, should your foot form or shape change with time or due to an injury.
