“We are not weak if we make a proper use of those means which the God of nature hath placed in our power. ”

~Patrick Henry~

These influential words were spoken during the Second Virginia Convention, at Saint John’s Church in Richmond, Virginia. At that time, war with the throne of England was emanate and Patrick Henry was asserting that struggle ahead would produce either “freedom or slavery” and weakness will not prevail if they make proper use of the resources which God had placed in their control. The timing was right for taking responsibility and stopping the onslaught of foreign oppression.
The above Patrick Henry quote is still relevant today.

Our nation is getting weaker

Our economy is deteriorating: Reduced Manufacturing Jobs, High Foreign and National Debt, and borrowing 40 cents for every dollar we spend, are just a few examples.
Foreign Oppression still exists

Many foreign countries still oppress their women; (Increasing crimes against Women), imprision their citizens without charge or trial; 500,000 people, and deprive journalists the freedom of press and citizens freedom of assembly; Russian State Control. Peaceful Assembly deined

We must use our available resources and common sense to preserve this country’s freedoms, this will advance humanity and continue to shine the unique light of Americanism through out the world.
We are not weak if we help the children, disadvantaged, and disabled; properly allocating our resources and not contributing to those who oppress their people and promote injustice. It is up to us each individual to act and make proper use of our financial means. Charity and the purchase of American made products, can help keep us strong and influence our own destiny.

“The government of the United States is a definite government, confined to specified objects. It is not like the state governments, whose powers are more general. Charity is no part of the legislative duty of the government. ”

~James Madison~
