Cornwell Quality Tools Company has been making USA made hand tools since the early 1900s; they started in a small blacksmith shop in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and today they are still family owned. Cornwell independent tool truck dealers are always ready to help you find their American made products. Always verify country of origin before you buy, most of their products are foreign made.
All of the ratchets, sockets, wrenches and chisels that are found in their catalog listed under the ‘OHIO MADE’ banner are made in their Mogadore Ohio plant. Every USA manufactured tool is proudly made of 100% American steel and hand finished with pride by their skilled craftsman.
The ‘Ohio Made’ Ratchets are available with flex or fixed heads, the socket wrenches are made with 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 inch head drives.
We found all types of sockets; with 16 and 12 point edges in deep and shallow depths, also available are USA made impact sets for industrial use. Spark plug and universal sockets are also listed in the catalog. All sockets are available in metric and SAE sizes.
The USA Wrenches are non-ratcheting, the sizes vary and styles include Torx, Half Moon, Angle and Open End; in short and long shanks.
Other USA made products include the TrueSmoke Diagnostic Leak/EVAP Smoke Machine (RL9450CT) and the Tool Storage Boxes that are Ohio made with globally sourced components.

Misleading as many tools are imported.
Cornwell does sell many imported hand tools also. Many of the screw drivers, sockets, and other hand tools rhese days are now made in Taiwan and other parts of the world. I recently had to replace a couple of my Cornwell sockets, which when purchased somewhere around 2006-2007 are now made in Taiwan. Cornwell is not alone here. You will see Marco, Snap On, and Mac also now selling tools from China etc. You just need to pay attention when buying these as to where they are made.
