Aprilaire does not have a specific page for their American made products, as nearly all of the superior Indoor Air Quality products they produce is made in the USA. They have production facilities in Avondale AZ, and Madison and Poynette WI; these factories produce Dehumidifiers, Thermostats, and Air Cleaners. Their headquarters is in Madison WI.
All of the Dehumidifiers are made in the Poynette, WI plant. The Dehumidifier has no messy water trays to empty; moisture is removed from the air and drained out of the unit to a common floor or waste drain. The dehumidifiers are for use with your existing or new AC venting ductwork; these humidity control systems are not portable.
